I cannot believe that some senators are so blind and/or corrupt that they will set a ceiling on the cost to BP for the clean-up for the worst environmental disaster in US history. That is nonsense; the company has huge profits, and a history of sloppy engineering. Let us place the responsibility of clean-up where it belongs: on BP. The government officials who allowed the breaking of safety rules must be prosecuted, and the lobbyists should be run out of town on a rail on the way to clean-up duties.
